IMDB rating: 7.40 Plot: An admired high school hockey player (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) with a bright future foolishly takes a drive in the night with his girl friend and two other friends with his headlights off with devastating results. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank. The leader (Matthew Goode) befriends him and gets him involved with a young woman (Isla Fisher) who further reels him in. After they get close and after reeling him in with his own failures, the bank plan unfolds. Confused but wanting to escape his current existence, he initially goes along with the scheme. After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which of course immediately goes awry. Bruce McGill and Alberta Watson also co-star as the young man’s parents, who still search for the person that was there before the tragic crash. |

Finding a location in Berlin?
Hi
Is anybody Local to Berlin; or knows Berlin very well? I am travelling there in a few weeks and need to track a location down.
Ive seen the film "The Baader Meinhof Complex" and would like to see Ulrike Mienhof’s gravestone.
Ive been on Google Maps and tracked the location to:
Heilig-Kreuz-Kirchhof, Mariendorf,
Cemetery, which I believe is North of Tegel Airport.
Ive found U-Bhan stations around the area although they look a distance away. Does anybody know if the cemetery is in realistic walking distance; and how long it would take to walk from the nearest U-Bhan Station?
Also is the cemetery large; is her grave easy to locate. Ive tracked down its in "Zone A"? Does anybody know where that is in the cemetery?
Any help would be much appreciated

In reality Ulrike Meinhof is burried in the city of Stuttgart not in Berlin so you won’t find her gravestone there.
The burial was very controvers at the time the major of Stuttgart defended the right of the terrorists to get a burial place and said that with the dead even terrorists aren’t to be considered as public ennemies anymore

I really miss Harry Potter, I miss all the hype,I miss Hogwarts and uggh I just miss everything. The Twilight saga is pretty much burning the Harry Potter World, but for me Harry Potter is still there,I don’t hate twilight or anythin’ but its just too much.. so would you guys agree with me? thank you

Fantasia Beaten In The French Guineas…What Was Wrong…?
So Fantasia could only finish 3rd in todays french guineas…qith frankie pressing the button for her to go 2 furlongs out..she couldnt find the pace of that in the Nell Gwyn stakes…what happened to her as she looked in a perfect position to go on and win?
Also what happened with Vocalised in the french 2000 guineas,i heard he got a bit jumpy going into the stalls but hes won his last 3 races before today so what went wrong?
I feel now there will be a lot of discussion over why Luca Cumani didnt send her for the english guineas,where she may of performed better having already run on the course just a few weeks before,David,there must of been something,she was an amazing filly last season and this is her first defeat in 6 starts,I agree tommy maybe it is something to do with not being 2 y.o’s and yes why didnt Bolger send Intense Focus anywhere,is there something we dont know or is he saving this horse for something big.

Fantasia should have run at Newmarket. French races can always be tricky. They tend to race at a slower tempo and you don’t always get a true pace.
George Stawbridge deserves what he got. He bought Fantasia to get rid of the 1000 Guineas opposition but it backfired on him, and his expectation that he’d pick up an easy Group 1 in France for Fantasia has also blown up in his face.

Yes I’m tending to agree with Sir Alan here. Having backed Fantasia at 20-1 for the English Guineas after she won her maiden at Newmarket in July (Respite 2nd)…and she has been beaten Kezza I think you’re getting her muddled with Rainbow View regarding being unbeaten this is her 5th race and she has now been beaten twice once by Rainbow View.
I remember Ed Dunlop had two fillies some time back Lailani and Mot Juste and they were both very close in ability. They ran in the same races and Lailani always got the better of dear little Mot Juste and went on to win the Irish Oaks and the Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Turf…but both fillies were given the chance to compete against each other, which Rainbow View and Fantasia have not and I believe that has now backfired badly on George Strawbridge. He could have had at least one classic under his belt and at the present he has none.
Zarkava was champion in her own country but she never ever left it, so how do we really know how good she could have been.
If Fantasia doesn’t travel, we can forgive her this run. I think the Coronotaion Cup, Ascot will suit her to a tee, as for Rainbow View look for a much better run at Epsom and on softer ground. It’s still too early to judge these young fillies… by Ascot we will know…Jac x

TTC, did not work this month, how to keep spirits positive?
We’ve been TTC , and are yet to fall pregnant. After days of thinking I was feeling pregnancy symptoms, I got AF today, and feel absolutely shattered.
Can someone help me find a silver lining, or a brighter side to this?
Not only did AF come today, but she came with a fiery vengeance, as if my body is saying "Haha, you aren’t pregnant, AND I’m going to give you killer cramps for the next 5 days", so it feels like a major smack in the face, and I’m not sure I want to keep TTC when my moods keep stooping this low month after month.
Any ideas to cheer up? Stories? Etc.
Think of it this way, it won’t be much longer until you ovulate again! Keep hope!

The first thing I always say to people in your boat is OPK’s!!! (ovulation predictor kits). They’re as good as having a sign stamped to your forehead saying "have sex today (and tomorrow, and the next day, just to be sure)"! A coworker told me she got pregnant on her first try using them, and I had already been trying for 7 months charting my cervical mucus each month. I also had very irregular periods, so I bought 50 on ebay and figured I’d just test every day until it said I was ovulating. Well, I happened to ovulate 3 days after they arrived, and it worked:) I now have a beautiful 4 month old baby boy and 47 unused ovulation strips:) I know how frustrating and depressing it can be to get your period each month, but it’ll happen. Just keep pluggin away (literally :oP)

The midterms take place on November second, so this is assuming that the political tide does not change in the nine months between now and the big day. But, if current polls prove correct, republicans will gain, probably not a majority, but will gain. Here’s step by step what I think will happen. It’s ultimately a repeat of the 90s
1. The democrats either lose control (Probably not) or lose enough seats that their simple majority can’t overcome a filibuster without a decent handful of republicans joining them. Obama, like Clinton, will do this. He moves toward the center, knowing the republicans will never do the same. Since most americans are in the middle, Obama will be able to then paint himself as a moderate while painting republicans as radicals. It worked for Clinton, and history repeats itself. Many republicans have said that Obama is too liberal to do anything in the center, but that’s just underestimating a president’s will to be re-elected. Rest assured Obama will do what he has to do.
2. This balance of power will ultimatly result in the republicans shutting down the government. They did that twice in 1995. Obama, like Clinton, will have moved more toward the center, and, like the 90s, the public will blame congress, not the president, for the standstill. Just as they did in the 90s, the republicans will figure, if you can’t beat him, then half-heartedly join him while hoping for an excuse to impeach him.
3. Health care, in 2012, is a dead issue. Either it will pass in 2010 by compromising with a few decent republicans, or the right will once again obstruct reform. So, in 2012, it either died as an issue, or passed but hasn’t taken effect yet, and is a non-issue. Also, due to the rollercoaster that is the economy, recessions following expansions, and expansions following recessions, it is only natural pattern that the economy will be solid again by the election of 2012. Incumbent presidents don’t lose with a strong economy. Also, Iraq withdrawal is set to be complete by summer of this year, and likewise afghanistan by summer of 2011, so for the 2012 election, the nation will not be at war, ergo no divisive foreign policy dominating the campaign. So 2012, strong economy, no war or HC debate, didn’t the election of 1996 have a similar issueless campaign with an outcome not in your favor, republicans?
4. These events will cause democrats to gain seats for the next few elections. Following 1994, these exact events led democrats to gain in congress 1996, 1998, and 2000

Please help me… Why are people such inconsiderate jerks even family? I should say especially family…?
I will try to shorten this. I do anything my mom need from paperwork to doctors. and recently due to my persistence we found out she has a total blockage in her main artery to her left leg so today was surgery day. I have six other siblings and I am the youngest. Well five of the six were there. My brother is one of those guys who likes anyting with a hole AKA a shovinistic pig! And he was talking about his many women and how they go back with thier abusive ex boyfriends and dump him. And I hear this stuff over and over from him. So I said he just likes and is attracted to that kind of girl/ drama. And he comes back and throws in my face about an incidentwhichh happened 5 years ago. I broke it off with an emotionally abusive guy and he was so pissed that the psycho came back with vengeances. Even though he was sleeping with a friend of mine. He assaulted me and I had to be rushed to the hospital and came with in millimeters of killing me and left me with 47 stitches on my face. A few months later I met an incredible man and he helped me through the emotional roller-coaster I was on. He is now my husband and best friend and most of all we are excited to say we are expecting in April:) So I definitely moved on and started a whole new chapter in my life. But it really bothers me that my own brother has brought this up and thrown it in my face twice now. He told me that I have no room to talk and that I was in an abusive relationship and so I am just as stupid as all the girls he meets. It bothers me that I try to be the best I can be and live my life because I almost didn’t have it and all he can bring up is this awe-full moment in my life. I know all you are going to say not to let other people bother me but this is not just anyone it is my family, my brother, how can he bring up such a hurtfull thing and feel nothing about it? It really makes me feel like crap and I don’t even want to consider him family anymore:(

Your brother sounds like a douche. I’m glad I have a great brother, but the rest of my family sounds just like yours. Do what I do, ignore them, don’t even talk to them unless it’s small talk and don’t get into their business so they won’t get into yours. But we all know that doesn’t work most of the time, especially when dealing with insensitive idiots. So what I do now is just rely on my hubby that loves me and would never hurt me in that way. I don’t talk enough with my family for them to bring up things that will make me feel bad. Honestly, it’s:

Usually I find that when you try to help them out or comment on their life is when they lash out and respond with an "oh yeah? well YOU blah blah blah"
